QUICK ANSWER

Coddington Vineyard wedding photography is perfect if you want a relaxed, intimate “destination-feel” wedding in Herefordshire – vineyards, countryside views, and a cosy barn atmosphere. And if it rains (like it did for Jen & Josh), it can still look incredible: the day feels more real, the guests lean in, and your photos tell the honest story.

Wedding photography in the rain

This Coddington Vineyard wedding in Coddington Herefordshire was one of the rainiest weddings we have ever photographed. I mean, the scenes were literally biblical. And maybe that’s why everybody had so much fun at this wedding. We even had the group pictures in the rain and that was really amazing! We love photographing rainy days.

Bride’s vision of the day:

“We envision the day to be a relaxed style garden party with family and friends. The venue is small and intimate with a rustic barn surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside which we love. Fingers crossed the weather is fine to have a small ceremony outside overlooking a beautiful pond, with a family friend playing her harp on the deck as I walk down the aisle with my dad.”

Rainy wedding days

I know that probably every couple would prefer to have a sunny wedding day. On the other hand, I am not entirely sure because I know couples who have chosen winter weddings because they prefer cold and foggy days. So you never know… But for all those couples who are actually dreaming about sunny weddings my advice would be. We live in the UK, it does rain here, so why not assume you’re going to get a rainy day? Just prepare for this opportunity and think it IS going to rain. Try to manage your expectations.
