Lapstone Barn light + rain plan (because the UK loves a plot twist)
Lapstone Barn is genuinely one of the most all-weather friendly venues we photograph – the layout flows beautifully even when it rains, so the day still feels relaxed (not like everyone’s hiding in corners).
If it’s bright, we’ll use the clean stone backdrops and nearby fields for soft, cinematic portraits.
If it’s raining, we can still grab gorgeous moments in sheltered spots (the courtyard is partly undercover) and use doorways, windows and cosy indoor corners for flattering, story-led photos.
The best bit? You don’t need a long “portrait mission” – we can do quick, natural photos in little pockets of time and keep you with your guests.

The location – getting there
Lapstone Barn is located near Chipping Campden which is like the social butterfly of the Cotswolds, perfectly positioned just south of Birmingham, North-East of Cheltenham, and North-West of Oxford. It’s the place to be, easily accessible by car (from the North and South via the M40), by bus, and by train (the nearest station is Moreton-in-Marsh).
