Lyde Court – a rustic wedding venue

Wedding photographers

We are Herefordshire based wedding photographers and Lyde Court is one of our most popular Hereford wedding venues. Since 2013 we have photographed 38 weddings at this fantastic venue (April 2020). All those wedding days had many things in common. All of them were

  • Relaxed and natural with some beautiful music in the background
  • Rustic, candle lit and with this awesome rural feel
  • Happy and most turned into this amazing evening party!

We photographed Indian weddings at Lyde Court. Some days saw awesome garden games, rodeo rides, bonfire nights and stunning fireworks. We photographed some amazing DJs and bands and also Elvis Presley once! There was some crazy Irish dancing, rainy days, rainbows, Vikings and more! We LOVE photographing Lyde Court weddings. Our photographic style is relaxed and natural reportage photography.

The wedding described below was photographed back in 2015. That’s why we have decided to also show you our most recent work from this fantastic venue. Here’s just a selection of photos from our recent Lyde Court weddings, have a look:

Real wedding at Lyde Court

Have you ever thought of having your wedding ceremony in the rose garden? Jemma and Andy got married at Lyde Court, in their rose garden. Their June wedding was full of stunning details because the bride owns an art gallery. It was such a pleasure and privilege to photograph!

Unusual decorations and centerpieces looked stunning. I would have never thought of using a reptile skull as my wedding decoration – the couple did that and the tables looked incredible. They also decorated the barn with beautiful lights and that created an amazing atmosphere. We love photographing such weddings.

Have a look at the groom’s buttonhole, bride’s bouquet and headpiece – personal touches were seen there too! The buttonhole is my favourite. There is one more thing the couple did differently – the names of their guests. On the table plan, instead of real names, they added nicknames and the guests had to guess in order to find their places. You should hear the amount of laughter in the barn at Lyde Court because of that.

From the best man’s speech I know that the couple met online. It turns out that the bride instantly loved the groom’s profile picture. He was stroking a sloth and that ticked all the boxes for her. Such an unusual and truly original couple! Just look at them – they are so happy together! We loved photographing them.
