Our bride and groom, Rachel and Danny, got married in the small venue in Wales – The Stonemill Monmouth. Beautiful views, amazing flowers by the Great British Florist and this lovely couple made this day unforgettable. The bride is a psychologist and the groom is an amazing journalist, so the speeches were a pure delight to listen to.
The newspaper favours (such a good idea)
Rachel + Danny’s favours were brilliantly personal: a newspaper made for their guests, with their story on the front page. Because Danny’s a journalist, it wasn’t just a cute detail – it felt like them. We loved weaving it into portraits and table shots because it turns your wedding photos into something even more meaningful: not just what it looked like, but who you are.
Wedding venue choice
This beautiful wedding shows that in order to have an amazing wedding you don’t have to hire a castle. We have photographed weddings in castles before and the atmosphere at this couple’s wedding was just so relaxed, and the views – just stunning! Weddings should be about celebrating your love and this couple definitely did that.

This lovely wedding venue doesn’t organize many weddings and this is also the reason why ceremonies there are so unique. If you ever get a chance to travel through Monmouth, pop in – they serve amazing food too!
