We’ve been photographing weddings since 2012. And then, back in 2019, we thought, “Hey, why not try our hand at making wedding films?” Let’s just say our first ever video (of course free of charge and a surprise for the couple) was a little shaky and overexposed, but let me tell ya, it’s still up there as one of my personal all-time faves!
The magic of short wedding films
Weddings are like a treasure trove of awesome moments just waiting to be filmed on camera. From the tears of joy to the crazy dance moves, we live for these exciting moments. We capture them as pictures but just look at those film versions…. you can’t really capture the sound and all memories related to it on pictures, right?

Question… do you really need a longer film?
This was one of the things that we’ve agreed on straight at the beginning of our ‘wedding films’ career. We just never wanted to create anything long and boring. I mean if you had the choice – would you prefer a short and beautiful creative film capturing all the emotions or something too long and rather wedding-typical?

This is one of our favourite wedding films – we knew the couple was super camera shy, the vast majority of our couples are, but boy don’t they look stunning? And all those beautiful words… perfection! We fell in love with making wedding films and honestly – if you are camera shy – don’t worry, because we won’t force you to pose and you will love your photos and film!

What a beautiful family, amazing speeches, a pure delight to watch over and over again. AND they booked that film literally last minute! Can you imagine not having that captured for you at your own wedding? Just lost forever, because you just can’t repeat your wedding day… and if some of your family lives abroad – what a way to share the memories with them?!
How about something a bit more bespoke?
We are always open to suggestions, so any ideas are most welcome! We can create something longer, faster, more in line with your music taste (just look at this amazing wedding!), we can record a separate ceremony, the speeches or even send you the unedited footage from your entire wedding day! Just so it doesn’t get lost in the past undocumented or end up being a poor quality shaky content on your uncle’s iphone!
Don’t get me wrong, we also use our phones to record some bits at weddings – but that always is a bonus, just like the end of this film – you REALLY have to watch it till the end!

EDIT: We just received our wedding video too and I am blown away. The brief was to capture the feel of the day. Watching our video felt like being back at Lyde Court and caught every pivotal moment. The whole concept is really well thought through, beautifully put together and you can tell they care deeply about their work. It’s definitely not just some boring old run-of-the-mill wedding video as it’s full of character and captured the vibe of our day. This video has now become OUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION and we cannot praise Marta & Artur enough!

We’re all about capturing couples and those mind-blowing vistas in this epic video (whether it is the Cotswolds or beyond). Picture this: it’s the summer of 2020 and this totally rad couple, who had already tied the knot a while back (and we were their photographers), decided to rendezvous with us again. And voilà, this video was born! Something a bit different again…
