We have been photographing weddings since 2012 and we’re loving it. Being based in Hereford allows us to photograph many amazing weddings here. This Herefordshire Hindu wedding at Lyde Court was no exception.
This was the first time ever we have photographed a Hindu wedding and it was quite an experience.The vibrant colors, intricate rituals, and joyful celebrations filled the air with an electric energy. Guests adorned in stunning sarees and sherwanis added to the festive atmosphere, while the sounds of traditional music echoed throughout the venue.
We found ourselves captivated by the detailed ceremonies and heartfelt moments that unfolded before us. From the Mehndi ceremony to the lively Sangeet night, each event told a story rich in culture and love. Capturing these fleeting moments was not just our job; it felt like being part of something truly special, creating memories that would last a lifetime for everyone involved.
We have also photographed more multicultural weddings in the Cotswolds, some including Hindu ceremonies. We were enchanted by the joyful energy and heartfelt connections among family and friends. The couple exchanged vows under a beautifully adorned mandap, surrounded by vibrant flowers and twinkling lights. Each ritual, from the Kanyadaan to the Saat Phere, unfolded with deep significance, immersing us in their rich traditions.

Even with the drizzle, the excitement in the air was palpable. Guests laughed and danced, their joy eclipsing the grey clouds overhead. I have found my place in Herefordshire and I am experiencing amazing cultures here. A taste of India with beautiful feelings and colors. Such a special and magical ceremony with lots of meaningful little moments to photograph.
