Real wedding at Bowood
We had the pleasure of photographing a blessing of an English-American couple at Bowood. It was such an unique event because of family getting together after many years of being apart. The couple had their BIG wedding in America and came to Bowood to celebrate with bride’s grandparents and family too.
You could totally feel the good vibes in the air as laughter bounced around the gardens, making it a beautiful mix of love and connection. Our cameras were clicking nonstop, catching every warm hug and emotional smile, so we could freeze those moments in time against Bowood’s amazing scenery.
The colorful flowers were the perfect backdrop for the couple, while the stunning architecture added a classy touch to their unforgettable memories. With every shot, we felt lucky to help tell their story – a gorgeous blend of cultures coming together.
Getting ready
The bride got ready in one of the gorgeous rooms at Bowood.
The natural light flooded the room, setting a dreamy vibe that was just right for those pre-wedding nerves. As she put on her gorgeous dress, surrounded by her besties and family, laughter and sweet memories filled every moment. The beautiful backdrop of Bowood’s fancy interiors made everything even more special. Every little detail counted; from the lovely bouquet to those fun candid shots. This was just the start of an amazing day!
The ceremony – the blessing
And then there was time for an outdoor ceremony in front of this quaint Cotswolds house at Bowood.
With the sun shining down, the outdoor ceremony felt like something right out of a fairytale. Friends and family were all around, their smiles lighting up the place as they watched the couple share their heartfelt vows. Our cameras were ready to catch every glance and tear of joy, capturing moments that would be treasured forever. After the ceremony, guests chatted in the gardens – an atmosphere full of love and connection that perfectly showcased Bowood’s magical charm.
Group pictures and reception drinks
And then of course we organized the group pictures. Because this was only a short coverage and being there with the part of the family the couple doesn’t usually see every day – those group pictures were a very important part of the day.
We totally made it a point to snap every combo of family and friends, capturing those awesome moments that’ll bring smiles for years ahead. As everyone struck a pose against Bowood’s gorgeous scenery, laughter filled the air, creating such a cozy and friendly vibe. Then came the reception drinks, where guests mingled and sipped on cool cocktails, their chats buzzing with excitement and fond memories.
Wedding Breakfast and the speeches
Then it was time to kick back and relax. The couple joined their guests for a wedding breakfast filled with tasty food and some awesome speeches. Everyone was sharing laughs and heartfelt stories, creating a mix of emotions that filled the room. The food was amazing, and each bite was enjoyed alongside the sound of clinking glasses and warm toasts. The speeches rolled on, bringing back sweet memories and pure joy, as everyone celebrated not just the couple but the journey that brought them all together at Bowood.

Then it was time for some couple photos! We hopped on the golf buggy and cruised over to the main entrance, which is apparently a classic shot every couple needs when getting hitched at Bowood. The couple stepped out, beaming with happiness in front of Bowood’s gorgeous scenery. We led them through the lush gardens and woods, capturing those sweet little looks and bursts of laughter among the colorful blooms.
Every click of our camera told their love story in this picture-perfect spot. It was all about making fun memories – playful moments that showed off their personalities mixed with Bowood’s charm. With each snap, we could feel the magic of their connection unfold, making beautiful Bowood wedding photography a real celebration of love and togetherness!
