Walcot Hall and other quirky wedding venues

Wedding photographers

We have photographed over 300 weddings so far and we have been lucky enough to visit so many unique venues, such as Walcot Hall and Shustoke Barn. When we photograph a wedding day, we always try to tell the story of our couple and capture the most amazing moments for them. Every single wedding we photograph is unique and so are their wedding venues.

Walcot Hall and Shustoke Barn are so different!

Both venues are so different, so what do they have in common? Why have I put them together in one blog post? I’ve done it because we love photographing weddings there. We also adore marquees and tipis, but that’s the story for our next blog post.

Walcot Hall, Lydbury North, Shropshire

This venue is probably one of the quirkiest ones out there. You can use the following backdrops for your wedding pictures: an old garage with even older cars and trucks, a gypsy caravan, a quirky green church like building with red doors, a swing, cows, stairs with super old carpets hanging over the balustrade, wooden toys from 200 years ago and many many more.

Quirky wedding barns

Wedding barns are a thing, aren’t they? One of the stunning venues closest to us, Brinsop Court, have even built a new barn to fit in many more wedding guests. And this barn does look STUNNING, we cannot wait to shoot weddings there this year! But let’s take a look at some amazing barns we have photographed before:

Curradine Barns, Worcestershire

A lovely venue with a bright Barley Barn – a perfect place for wedding speeches. We have photographed a few weddings there over the years.
