About the photographers
We work as a team when shooting weddings, and we’ve shot over 400 weddings together over the years. Working with two photographers will always result in a more interesting selection of images, because you’ve got two points of view whirring away on the job.
But working with two people, who know each other inside out, will guarantee you a seamless experience and a collection of really nuanced, bold and artistic imagery that expresses the story of your wedding day.
1. Do we need a pre-wedding photo shoot?
It is always good to have a pre-wedding shoot because it helps you feel a lot more comfortable on the day plus you have a bit more time to experiment. We convinced our couples to have a quick shoot by Crummock Water the day before. They just didn’t want to leave their guests on their wedding day and we are so happy we had that pre-wedding shoot because – just look at those views!
2. Will we spend a lot of time posing for pictures?
A lot of couples worry that the photographer will be taking photos of them all the time, but this is not at all the case! We aim to capture natural expressions and moments. Ultimately we want your wedding day photos to feel like a candid snapshot.
3. How do you edit our wedding photos?
Once we have taken your photos, we spend a lot of time editing them so that they are perfect for you. We go through each and every one and make sure that there are no distracting elements before delivering them to you.
4. What locations do you recommend to achieve the best from our Low Hall The Lakes wedding photography?
Crummock Water and a few other lakes in the area are definitely great locations to consider. We love the natural beauty of these places.
5. Can we see a selection of edited images before we make a booking?
Yes, absolutely! We would be more than happy to send you some previews so that you can get a sense of what your photos will look like. In fact, we’re going to share a few with you now.

Getting ready
You will be getting ready in a lovely romantic old house literally not even a minute away from the ceremony location. This means you can get ready without stress related to travel in the morning – who need stress on their wedding day, right?
If you are a big fan of swimming, you can go for the morning dip in Crummock Water to calm the nerves too!

The reception drinks and the speeches
There are so many fantastic spots at the venue and if the weather is nice having the drinks and the speeches outside is such a fantastic idea!
