We are a photographic duo, a husband and wife team based in Hereford, West Midlands. Our wedding photography style is relaxed and natural with some fine art elements too. Every wedding is unique and original and this makes our job very exciting. Morris dancing at weddings is one of those amazing rare events loved by wedding guests, and also us, the photographers.

Morris Dancing the Rose

Real Morris Dancing at weddings

Here’s the example of the real Morris Dancing. The group invited the bride to perform the ‘Rose’ dance, and after that everybody got involved. This is such a great entertainment! We LOVE it:

Morris Dancing at Brinsop Court

We have also photographed a Brinsop Court wedding where Morris Dancing was a part of the entertainment. Here’s the full story: Emma + Ed – Brinsop Court wedding, Hereford. Why was this wedding so original? Because of dancing and a great family tradition. Besides, what could be more ‘quirky-British’ than a Morris dancing wedding?

What is Morris Dancing?

Morris Dancing is a traditional form of English folk dance dating back to the 15th century. It is also a very important part of our groom’s family history because his father started one Morris group. The groom’s father and twin brother were taking part in the dancing too and everyone was having a great fun. At the end the guests were given the wooden sticks and were “Morris Dancing” together with the professionals which was accompanied by music and laughter.
